Hot times in Fresno

Being inexperienced geese (Betty never gave us any training with directions), we borrowed a friend’s car and drove east . . . to Fresno.  

We thought perhaps another COE might offer us a comfy counter-top home.  Alas, those Fresno folks wanted us to have credentials. And they wanted to fingerprint us!   There is a clear discrimination going on here, as everyone knows geese have no fingers.

 

 

Leaving in a huff, we seek our fortunes elsewhere.  Fresno is hot!  But  . . . can it be?  

Betty?  Even if it’s not OUR Betty, this looks promising.

They are hiring!

 

Alas, more species discrimination . . . sigh!

 

 

Tired, hot and discouraged, we check into a hotel.

Elevators are a challenge.

Shower then bed.

Next day, we enjoyed all the hotel amenities.

Then off to Fresno State to work on those credentials!

Success!  Graduation and credentials for Gwyneth . . . and Gus is very proud.

Now off to Wendy's to celebrate!  Nothing but the best in Fresno!
