Although, we got out the door OK, Gwyneth and I soon discovered that we were a bit out of practice flying and very out of shape. However, we managed to fly to downtown S.L.O. before our wings would flap no more. So, we set down to rest a while before deciding to walk. Walking wasn't much better of an idea as geese are not really built for walking.
So, again we stopped, but this time after resting we decided to hitch a ride. We got a ride with some wonderful people but we did not realize until they stopped that they were going north.
So, here we are just starting our travels and we end up going the wrong way.
Some good news though, the wonderful people that gave us a ride have offered to put us up for the weekend and take us wine tasting this weekend.
